Assignment 1: Getting to Know your Style

This last picture is my favorite.  One of my favorite types of photography is narrative photography, and this picture definitely shows you New York night life, it's focusing on the big picture instead of one specific thing.  I like that it's done in black and white because it let's things stand out in a way that color doesn't allow.  There's also a lot of depth in this picture, things like the lamp post that's quite close and the cars and lights that are far away.  I also like the lighting in the picture, even though it's dark all the bright city lights give it a cool look.
